Appearance: Warrior manifests as a humanoid figure, with dark, misty tendrils surrounding their body. Their body is the broadest of the three Concelo demons (and, from observation, they are big even for other members of the military). Despite being powerfully-built though, they still maintain a lithe appearance.
They stand at over seven feet, with long shadowy limbs that resemble strong, corded muscles. Their movements are very precise, purposeful, and deceptively fast in spite of their stature.
Warrior’s mask is incredibly beautiful, white with sharp, thorn-like adornments that speak of their many feats in battle. Slaughter and triumph are etched upon their face as adornments, giving Warrior a fierce and terribly enchanting look. This is something that Warrior takes great pride in, and something that makes them stand out amongst their people.
Warrior’s voice has a rasp to it- it is genderless, although low, recalling the drag of waves upon moonlit sand.
Description: Warrior is incredibly disciplined, which is what their job demands. They greatly value hard work, and the ability to plan ahead in order to accomplish far-off/long-term goals. To them, vision is important, but the determination to follow through with that vision, no matter the circumstances or obstacles placed in their path, is equally valuable. As such, Warrior makes a formidable opponent on the battlefield. Although they are physically impressive, what makes them a true challenge to overcome is their ability to think a thousand steps ahead.
Another outstanding quality of theirs is their resilience (which could be described as stubbornness by less kind people) although they freely admit it can get in the way of the bigger picture from time to time. They shrug, unconcerned. “I know what my weaknesses are.”
Warrior is specifically seeking out a companion that is interested in growth. The Concelo society is prone to stagnation, Warrior admits with disappointment in their tone- they are very stuck in their old ways. As such, Warrior desperately craves the opportunity to transcend themselves and learn and grow, to become and change outside of the confines of their own society. This is the reason why a person who is afraid of progress may not be the right fit for this companionship.
As a companion, Warrior provides their future partner a unique perspective and a sharp insight/knowledge of many topics (especially in relation to shadow work, defense magic, dream-based magic, etc.). They also present a challenge, and an opportunity for their future companion to better themselves. Furthermore, they extend an offer of protection towards their future companion.
When asked to describe themselves, Warrior shrugged again, this time in a noncommittal gesture. “I am not words on paper,” they said, “but more. One should see me beyond that which has been written. Read between the lines.”
Ultimately, although they do not answer, what Warrior says does give great insight into their perspective. They value those who can think beyond what is explicitly stated. Those who are critical, analytical, and unwilling to simply take an answer at face value simply because it is comfortable.
Society-wise, Warrior is a white-masked Concelo demon with ties to the middle class. They hold an important position in the military, and they are perceived as a valuable asset to their team.
As mentioned before, Warrior’s main areas of expertise are shadow work, chaos magic, dream-based magic, cursing, and ritual work.
As a shadow-worker, Warrior is someone who prides themselves in confronting their issues head-on and believes anything else to be a waste of time. Their approach to most of these topics is methodical, so they would be a wonderful mentor (although the type of companionship they are hoping for will be more “equal”).
In a future companion, Warrior is interested in finding a person who can challenge them, and who is open to undergoing a transformative journey together. They strongly feel that the person who steps forward as their companion will be equally driven to shed their skin, to metamorphose, and to transcend the expectations that may have been placed upon them (either by others or by themselves).
