Appearance: Cobweb manifests as a young woman standing at around 5ft 11in tall. She has a very slender body, almost boyish in appearance, with pale, porcelain-like skin. Her black hair is straight, long and silky, brushing almost down to the middle of her back. She enjoys keeping it loose, although she may occasionally wear it in a single, thick braid (especially when doing healing work).
Cobweb prefers to dress simply, in light fabrics that allow for movement and muted/neutral colors. While she doesn’t typically wear jewelry, she may occasionally be seen with a beautifully intricate hair brooch.
Her almond-shaped eyes are a deep, ocean blue that seems to almost shift and change shades depending on her mood. They are framed by thick eyelashes. In her fox form, she has seven tails; her fur is black with silver streaks, and her eyes remain the incredible, striking color.
Both as a human and as a fox, Cobweb’s features are very sharp, with a pointed jawline, and fine, delicate lips that are usually curled into a knowing smile (or, what passes as a smile if she is in the shape of a fox).
Her sibling, Moth, is the younger twin. He stands at around the same height as Cobweb, and is equally slender in build, although there is something a bit more fragile about his aura.
Typically, Moth is a fan of wearing intricately-crafted clothing (in part due to his appreciation of the arts), which is in stark contrast to his twin’s simpler taste.
His black hair is cropped short, accentuating his most striking feature- his eyes. Moth’s right eye is a lovely, dark-grey color, reminiscent of clouds during a stormy day. His left is the same striking blue as his sister’s.
As a fox, Moth is slightly smaller than Cobweb, with black fur and seven beautiful tails.
Description: Cobweb and Moth make quite an interesting pair- they are both gentle souls, with soothing energies and a passion for healing. Cobweb’s personality could be better described as studious and assertive, with a liveliness about her that is completely enthralling. She is bubbly and deeply connected to her “feminine” side- embodying the best of it, and being both empowered and confident because of it.
On the other hand, Moth is the more dreamy of the two, with a penchant for the philosophical and intangible, for the ethereal. He is a gentler entity, with a calming influence that seems to exude from him. He is a bit shyer and slightly quieter than his outgoing sister.
Cobweb and Moth’s future companion might find their relationship dynamic endearing, as it is clearly that of two siblings who are very close to one another. They might struggle at first to connect with Moth, who is slightly more reclusive and almost aloof, although once they have established a connection, they would be hard-pressed not to fall in love with him.
Both would be wonderful mentors in regards to the topics of energy healing and energy manipulation, although Cobweb would likely be the one spearheading these efforts, as she loves learning and teaching others. Moth would likely be a better companion to discuss theories with and to gain a deeper, more full understanding of the underlying mechanisms behind each lesson his sister shares.
When asked to describe themselves, Cobweb was first to chime in. “Moth is quiet and ungrounded… but he is also rather unique and insightful,” she said, sounding proud.
For his part, Moth grinned, quipping, “Cobweb’s just a pain.”
In regards to Cobweb’s assessment of her brother, she hit the nail on the head. Despite the fact that there is an airiness about him that makes it hard to pin him down, Moth carries within him a unique fire. His actions may at times appear strange or unexplainable, but there is a method to his madness if only one would take the time to understand his perspective. He is the kind of entity who is wholly unconventional and completely okay with it.
He would be a wonderful companion for someone who struggles with their individuality and embracing the things which set them apart from others. He would also be great as a companion for someone who likes looking at things differently; an artist or a deep-thinker would both end up having enthralling and wonderful conversations with him.
In regards to Cobweb’s description…. Moth is also not necessarily wrong. Cobweb can exude confidence that borders on the edge of cockiness sometimes, and her liveliness, assertiveness, and drive might come across as overwhelming. But she is kind, caring, and protective of those whom she loves. Moreover, her positivity even in the face of negative circumstances can truly be relieving and uplifting. For someone who needs a shoulder to cry on or a friend to rely on, Cobweb would be a valuable friend. And for someone who needs inspiration, or a kick in the rear in order to get going, Cobweb would be a great asset and an even greater companion.
Both Cobweb and Moth’s energies are very similar in some aspects- they are twins, after all. They have a wonderfully flowing, smooth quality to their energy. Moreover, it is comfortably cool.
However, Cobweb’s energy is noticeably more interactive with her environment, and it has a more grounded, solid sense to it. On the other hand, Moth’s energy is almost airy in quality, with a slower (almost drawling) aspect to itself.
Society-wise, Moth and Cobweb are solitary, and they command a large territory within the astral. While they may interact with other entities from time to time, they have not established any significant, lasting relationships (another reason as to why they chose to pursue spirit companionship).
As mentioned before, their main areas of expertise are energy work, energy healing, and working with water-based magic. They are adaptable and very capable of manipulating energy (as most nogitsune and kitsune tend to be), and they have a great interest as well as a deep understanding of different energy bodies.
Moreover, due to their own water-based alignments, they are very adept at infusing this energy (in its many forms) and manipulating it in order to accomplish any task imaginable, from cursing to blessing.
The reason why Cobweb and Moth stepped forward in order to work with a spirit companion is that they are interested in sharing what they know with a person, and they would like to form a lasting relationship that allows them the freedom to experience and learn more about the physical world.
